Head massage and Facial lymphatic massage training programs include theoretical lessons, practical demonstrations, and supervised practice sessions on models or clients. It is important to practice within the scope of your training, adhere to professional guidelines, and comply with local regulations when performing facial lymphatic and head massages as a trained professional.
The training consists of two main theme blocks: Head massage and Facial lymphatic massage
Head massage block covers:
1. Introduction to Head Massage
Understanding the principles, benefits, and goals of head massage. Learning about the physiological and psychological effects of head massage, including stress reduction, tension release, and improved blood circulation.
2. Scalp Anatomy and Physiology
Gaining knowledge about the structure and functions of the scalp, including the hair follicles, blood vessels, and nerve endings. Understanding how massage techniques can stimulate these structures and promote relaxation and rejuvenation
3. Client Consultation
Developing skills to assess clients’ specific needs, concerns, and suitability for head massage. Learning to identify contraindications and customize the treatment based on individual client requirements
4. Massage Techniques
Mastering a variety of manual massage techniques for the head and scalp. This may include effleurage (gentle gliding strokes), petrissage (kneading movements), circular motions, tapping, and acupressure techniques designed to release tension and promote relaxation.
5. Additional Techniques
Exploring additional techniques that can complement the head massage, such as neck and shoulder massage, facial massage, or aromatherapy using essential oils. Understanding how these techniques can enhance the overall relaxation and well-being of the client.
6. Product Selection and Application
Familiarizing oneself with different types of oils, lotions, or balms suitable for head massage. Learning proper application techniques to enhance the glide of hands during the massage and provide additional benefits to the scalp and hair
7. Safety and Hygiene
Emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment during head massages. Learning about proper sanitation practices, hand hygiene, and safety protocols to ensure client comfort and prevent any adverse reactions
8. Pre- and Post-Treatment Care
Providing clients with pre-treatment instructions and post-treatment recommendations specific to head massage. Educating clients about proper hair and scalp care routines, managing potential post-massage effects, and encouraging relaxation techniques.

2. Facial Anatomy and Lymphatic System
Gaining knowledge about the structure and functions of the facial muscles, lymph nodes, and vessels. Understanding the impact of lymphatic drainage techniques on the face, including reducing puffiness, improving skin tone, and enhancing the appearance of the skin.
3. Client Assessment and Consultation
Developing skills to assess clients’ facial conditions, concerns, and suitability for facial lymphatic massage. Learning to identify contraindications and customize the treatment based on individual client needs
4. Massage Techniques
Mastering a variety of manual massage techniques specifically designed for facial lymphatic drainage. This may include gentle strokes, light pressure, circular motions, and precise movements to stimulate lymphatic flow in the face and neck.

How old do you have to be to take a course?
For our courses, we require all students to be over the age of 18.
Do I need any pre-existing licensing or education to take your courses?
Our courses are perfect for all experience levels! Enrolling in our courses requires no prior licensing, education, or certifications. We do let our students know that they are responsible for obtaining information on their local rules & regulations regarding licensing and permits before offering services as every State and Province has its own guidelines that need to be followed.
Are your courses taught only in English?
Yes, at this time our courses are only taught in English. In the nearest future, we are planning to add Spanish. If our non-English speaking students require a translator we ask you to arrange this prior to your course date and speak with our training coordinator for future detail and instructions.
How long is each Zoom lesson?
Each Zoom lesson is scheduled to last for 2-2.5 hours, including breaks in between.
