Classic facial training with no equipment is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform traditional facial treatments effectively. A classic facial involves a series of steps aimed at cleansing, exfoliating, extracting impurities, massaging, and nourishing the skin.

Classic facial training includes both theoretical lessons and practical demonstrations, allowing professionals to practice the techniques on models or clients under the guidance of experienced trainers. By completing this training, professionals can confidently provide classic facial treatments, promoting healthy and rejuvenated skin for their clients.

Classic facial training covers:

1. Skin Anatomy and Physiology

Gaining knowledge about the structure, functions, and characteristics of the skin. Understanding different skin types, common skin concerns, and how to assess clients’ skin conditions.

2. Cleansing Techniques

Learning proper techniques for thorough facial cleansing, including the use of appropriate cleansers, toners, and gentle massage movements to remove dirt, makeup, and impurities.

3. Exfoliation Methods

Understanding different exfoliation techniques, such as manual exfoliation (scrubs), chemical exfoliation (enzymes, AHAs, BHAs), or mechanical exfoliation (microdermabrasion). Learning how to select the right exfoliation method based on individual client needs.

4. Extraction Techniques

Mastering gentle and proper extraction techniques to remove blackheads, whiteheads, or other pore blockages without causing skin damage. Understanding when and how to use extraction tools or techniques safely.

5. Mask Application

Understanding different types of facial masks (hydrating, clarifying, soothing, etc.) and their benefits. Learning proper mask application techniques and how to select the most suitable mask for clients’ specific skin concerns

6. Product Knowledge

Familiarizing oneself with different skincare products used during a classic facial, such as cleansers, toners, exfoliants, serums, masks, and moisturizers. Understanding their ingredients, benefits, and usage.

7. Client Consultation

Developing effective communication skills to consult with clients, assess their skin concerns and goals, and customize the facial treatment accordingly. Learning to manage client expectations and provide personalized recommendations.

8. Safety and Hygiene

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic treatment environment. Learning about infection control, proper sanitation practices, and adherence to safety protocols during the facial procedure.

9. Pre- and Post-Treatment Care

Understanding the importance of skin analysis, performing patch tests when necessary, and providing clients with pre-treatment instructions and post-treatment skincare recommendations.

How old do you have to be to take a course?

For our courses, we require all students to be over the age of 18.

Do I need any pre-existing licensing or education to take your courses?

Our courses are perfect for all experience levels! No prior licensing, education or certifications are required to enroll in our courses. We do let our students know that they are responsible for obtaining information on their local rules & regulations regarding licensing and permits before offering services as every State and Province has its own guidelines that need to be followed.

Are your courses taught only in English?

Yes, at this time our courses are only taught in English. In the nearest future, we are planning to add Spanish. If our non-english speaking students require a translator we ask you to arrange this prior to your course date and speak with our training coordinator for future detail and instructions.

How long is each Zoom lesson?

Each Zoom lesson is scheduled to last for 2-2.5 hours, including breaks in between.
