Face massage (classic) training covers:
1. Introduction to Face Massage
Understanding the principles, benefits, and goals of face massage. Learning about the physiological and psychological effects of face massage on the skin, muscles, and overall relaxation.
2. Facial Anatomy and Physiology
Gaining knowledge about the structure and functions of facial muscles, bones, and skin. Understanding the impact of massage techniques on the facial tissues and how they contribute to relaxation and rejuvenation.
3. Client Assessment and Consultation
Developing skills to assess clients’ facial conditions, concerns, and suitability for face massage. Learning to perform a facial analysis, identify contraindications, and customize the treatment based on individual client needs.
4. Massage Techniques
Mastering a variety of manual massage techniques specifically designed for the face. This may include effleurage (gliding strokes), petrissage (kneading and lifting movements), tapotement (light tapping), and acupressure techniques tailored for facial muscles and pressure points.
5. Product Selection and Application
Familiarizing oneself with different types of facial oils, creams, or lotions suitable for face massage. Learning proper application techniques to enhance the glide of hands during the massage and provide additional benefits to the skin.

How old do you have to be to take a course?
For our courses, we require all students to be over the age of 18.
Do I need any pre-existing licensing or education to take your courses?
Our courses are perfect for all experience levels! Enrolling in our courses requires no prior licensing, education, or certifications. We do let our students know that they are responsible for obtaining information on their local rules & regulations regarding licensing and permits before offering services as every State and Province has its own guidelines that need to be followed.
Are your courses taught only in English?
Yes, at this time our courses are only taught in English. In the nearest future, we are planning to add Spanish. If our non-English speaking students require a translator we ask you to arrange this prior to your course date and speak with our training coordinator for future detail and instructions.
How long is each Zoom lesson?
Each Zoom lesson is scheduled to last for 2-2.5 hours, including breaks in between.
